The origins of New Life Chinese Christian Church can be traced back to the lockdowns and quarantines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Amidst global anxiety and uncertainty, more than a dozen Christians living in northeastern Wisconsin began praying and encouraging each other online. After Easter 2021, God further moved these brothers and sisters. They began to regather in their different homes to worship and praise God together, and officially registered as a church.

 

Although we did not have a fixed venue at the beginning, God’s gracious hands never left us. In the first year of the church’s founding, we experienced many important spiritual milestones: the first communion, retreat, baptism, general meeting, autumn outing… In November of the same year, through God’s love and preparation, the local Faith Lutheran Church allowed us to use its facilities free of charge as a fixed place for worship and meetings.

 

Over the past few years, God's power and grace have been guiding His church, continually adding to its numbers of those who are saved, and new brothers and sisters continue to join. Today, New Life Chinese Christian Church has grown into a stable spiritual community with approximate fifty members. Every Sunday, the church gathers 40-50 adults and 10-15 teenagers and children for worship, study, and fellowship.

 

We pray that the Lord will continue to use the church as a channel to proclaim God's pure gospel and manifest Christ's perfect love, so that more people may receive salvation, have their lives renewed, and become witnesses to glorify God in this land.
