What We Believe
1. Bible
We believe that the Bible, including both the Old Testament and the New Testament, is God-inspiring, infallible and inerrant in its original form. (Mt 5:18; 2Ti 3:16-17; 2Pe 1:21)
2. God
We believe that there is one self-existing God, who is the Creator of all. We believe that there is only one God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Dt 6:4; Col 1:16; 2Co 13:14)
3. Jesus
We believe in the divinity of Jesus, who is the second person of Godhead. We believe in the incarnation of Jesus, which was a real event in history. We believe that Jesus is fully God and fully human. We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross in place of sinners so that they can be saved. We believe in Jesus's physical resurrection and His ascending. (Jn 1:1; Jn 1:14; Isa 53:5-6; Mt 28:6; Ac 1:9)
4. Holy Spirit
We believe in the divinity and personality of the Holy Spirit. We believe that He indwells believers, guiding the life of them and bestowing spiritual gifts at His will. (Ac 5:3-4; Ro 8:9; 1Co 2:9-12; 1Co 12:11)
5. Human
We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God. We believe that all human beings are born sinners. We believe that a human cannot save himself from sin. (Ge 1:26-27; Ro 3:23; Eph 2:1-5)
6. Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God. We believe that the only salvation is by God’s grace through our faith in Jesus Christ alone. (Eph 2:8-9; Ac 4:12)
7. Church
We believe that the church, the body of Christ, consists of believers, who are to live a holy life. We believe that holy communion and baptism are the sacraments directly established and demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the partakers of baptism are to be believers, who consciously accept Jesus Christ as their Lord. (1Co 12:12-14; 1Co 11:23-26; Ac 2:41-42)
8. End Time
We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ at the end time. We believe that a millennial kingdom will be established on earth. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all dead, the righteous and the wicked. We believe that there will be a final judgement. Believers will be blessed and have eternal life. Those who do not accept Jesus will be cursed and suffer eternal punishment. (1Th 4:13-18; Rev 20:1-6; Jn 5:28-29)
9. Marriage
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between a biological man and a biological woman. (Ge 1:27; Ge 2:22-24; Mt 19:4-5)
